Cookie Recipes are so numerous it is hard to know where to start. Chocolate Chip Cookies are probably the most popular, but are you, and other people, searching for chocolate cookie recipes when you search the net, or are you looking for something a little bit more unusual?

The reason I am asking the question is because:

Firstly, I have hundreds of cookie recipes.

Secondly, I want to provide the information that you the readers want, and not what I think you should know.

I also know that I could throw recipe after recipe onto the site and leave you all to it, but what’s the point in that. There are hundreds of sites out there that claim to show you how to make cookies. In reality, all that most of these sites do, is list ingredients, with a few instructions on how to throw them together. I am hoping to do better than that.

How To Make Cookies

For example, if we are discussing how to make peanut butter cookies I hope to give you some or all of the following

A list of ingredients.
A list of equipment needed.
Videos or pod cast explaining everything.
Diagrams.
And finally alternative sources of information.

After this I hope we can all talk about the recipe. The discussion part of the process is where I am hoping this site will be different from all other sites.

I don’t know about you, but how many times have you read instructions, done everything that was asked, and it still went wrong?

Don’t you think it would be useful ask questions? Lets say we are all trying a new banana cookie recipe. You go away, follow the recipe, bake your cookies, and they come out like bullets. How useful do you think it would be if you could come back here and ask what went wrong?

If we all share our experiences, I think we could grow something really special here. Eventually, I hope we can all become friends, pour a coffee, pull up a chair and shoot the breeze.

Before that happens we have a lot of work to get through, and to be honest it’s going to take time. However, I am hoping you will stick with me through all the ups and downs, the disasters, the flour and egg throwing, burnt fingers and tears, because in the end it will be worth it.

At the end of the day, cookie recipes are like life. We are all looking for the perfect one, but to find it we have to eat a lot of garbage.

I hope to see you all again soon. Until then please leave your suggestion as to which should be the first featured cookie recipe.

Here at Cookie Bakeware we aim to provide you with the best and useful information we can on cookie bakeware and all things cookies. We all love cookies from young to old who can resist a freshly baked cookie? Everyone has their favourite, whether it be chocolate chip, coconut, vanilla, or even just a plain old cookie, but the one thing nearly everyone can agree on is the memories they can evoke. Who among us does not have a childhood cookie memory?

At The Cookie Baker we want to do more than just give you the names, prices, and specification of cookie bakeware, we want to build a real community. Our hope is that this community will grow to be friends, sharing and discussing cookie recipes, reviewing the products they have bought, and passing on tips to each other.

Cookie Bakeware

Although we sell, advertise, and review cookie bakeware both in the USA and here in England, our knowledge of some of the more obscure American cookie recipes is a bit limited, so feel free to pitch in. If you are American and are looking for traditional British cookie recipes you are going to be in for a real treat. Over the coming months we will be publishing many classic British cookie recipes and of course all the world famous American cookie recipes, such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, and blueberry, and all of these will be available for free.

Baking Cookies

Do you bake cookies? Have you got a great recipe? If you have why not share it with us, all you have to do is leave it in the comment section or drop us an email and we will publish it for you. The same applies if you have any useful tips or advice. Think of it this way, we all have knowledge and experience in certain areas, if we all share our own little bit of knowledge, imagine how much great information would be available to this community.

Cookie Cutter

Lets cut to the heart of this cookie so to speak. We can build this site up and provide you with all the information you will ever need, but that will not make this a living breathing community. At the end of the day that is our ultimate goal and for that to happen we need you to get involved, so please leave a comment and let us know what you want.

Until the next time thank you for reading Cookie Bakeware.
